Philosophy
We believe in transforming people one workshop at a time. We support experiencing this change through the development and delivery of well thought out and carefully tested workshops. We call this our interactive learning model.
The Process
The development process for any of our workshops is ongoing. We never consider a workshop to be ‘finished or completed’ because we work to evolve our workshops based on a continuous development cycle.

Research
We listen to our clients’ and market needs. What does your business or organization need today? What do participants need? Are they the same or different? What are the desired outcomes?
At Lexxon Training we analyze the needs of the group, balance the information obtained, and assess the applicability of the findings for the workshop objective. We personalize the workshop to meet your organization’s needs and deliver the desired outcomes. We engage subject matter experts directly with clients, wherever possible, as partners in the development process.
We also research other training courses locally, nationally and internationally, looking for the best of the best. We evaluate for content, delivery style, structure, and deliverables (such as participant workbooks and handouts, facilitator manuals and other effective training tools).
We review literature (journals, books, professional lectures and presentations) in the academic and non-academic spheres (business, psychology, sociology and organizational development) for the most current data and information. We study the pros and cons of the content and model options to ensure we are offering what best meets the needs of participants and the desired workshop outcomes.
Develop
We develop and write courses with a focus on those who will be in attendance and an organization’s purpose and desired outcomes of the workshop. We use leading learning approaches and the most effective multimedia. We consider diverse learning styles, utilizing examples and experience that are relevant to participants within group discussion (small and large), skill practice (role play), presentation, case study, accelerated learning (note taking), individual coaching, games, questions and answers, and demonstrations. We ensure best practices specific to adult learning are integrated into the development. We consider it very important that we maintain the value of established knowledge, skills and understanding, while incorporating the most contemporary approaches for our participants. It is our practice to develop training standards for all courses, to ensure consistency and quality in all course delivery and locations.
To deliver all this we build a team of relevant subject matter experts for each workshop. Typically each workshop development team consists of people with skills and background in adult learning, behavioural change and particular subject matter expertise. Each team brings experience and knowledge to the job of developing our professional and successful workshops.
Testing and Review
We market test each workshop through a stringent internal alpha trial comprised of participants from all levels of our organization. Recommended improvements are incorporated before we test the workshop in an external beta trial. Our beta trials are typically performed by a client partner (usually one that has supported us through the earlier phases of development). Once again, recommended improvements are incorporated into the materials and the process is repeated until the workshop is market ready.
We re-evaluate and review course content regularly to ensure it remains current with best practices and new developments in the subject area. Additionally, we actively seek feedback from participants at the time of the workshop and clients following the workshop. This allows for continual improvement of our workshops and training.
Respect is Key
We deliver workshops that advance the retention of knowledge of all participants and provide satisfaction and instant impact for clients the very next day.
